Intent in Every Stitch
INTERIOR & TRIM — CRAFT WITH INTENT
In a bespoke Jaguar E-Type, the interior is not decoration — it is an environment.
The trim brief for the Jaw Dropping Speedster was to create a cabin that supports the car’s focused character without overwhelming the simplicity that defines the original E-Type interior. Rather than chasing luxury or nostalgia, the objective was clarity, comfort and coherence.
Every material choice was evaluated by how it would feel in use, not how it would read in isolation.
MATERIAL AND FORM
Diamond-stitched leather was introduced not as ornament, but as a subtle graphic structure within the cabin. The stitching adds texture and depth while reinforcing the car’s bespoke identity in a restrained, contemporary way.
Seating was tailored to support longer drives and more engaged use, while preserving the visual lightness expected of an open E-Type cockpit. Colours and finishes were selected to complement the exterior rather than compete with it, ensuring the cabin feels calm, purposeful and resolved.
AESTHETICS AND USABILITY
Every interior intervention was judged against a simple question: did it improve both how the cabin looks and how it feels to use?
This disciplined approach ensures the bespoke E-Type interior reads as a cohesive whole rather than a collection of modifications — considered, balanced and confident in its restraint.
Nothing exists purely to be noticed. Each detail earns its place through function, proportion and tactility.
