More than 4,000 hours are invested in every car, yet those hours aren't simply spent assembling components. They're devoted to thousands of individual decisions, countless refinements and an uncompromising level of craftsmanship that transforms one of the world's greatest sports cars into something altogether more special.
Every adjustment, every engineered solution and every finishing touch exists for a reason. Individually they may seem insignificant. Together, they define the difference between an excellent restoration and an Unleashed build.
It All Starts with the Foundation
Every Unleashed project begins with a carefully selected donor Jaguar E-Type before being stripped back to its bare bodyshell.
From this point onwards, every component is assessed on its own merit. Some parts are restored, others are remanufactured and many are completely re-engineered. Nothing is retained simply because it's serviceable. Every decision is made with the finished car in mind, ensuring each element contributes to the overall driving experience.
The bodyshell alone demands hundreds of hours of painstaking work. Panels are repeatedly trial-fitted, adjusted and refined to achieve the crisp panel gaps and shut lines expected of an Unleashed build. It's not unusual for a technician to spend an entire day perfecting the fit of a single panel. To most people, the difference would be almost impossible to spot. To the craftsman building the car, it's the difference between acceptable and exceptional.
Only when every surface meets our standards does preparation for paint begin, laying the foundation for a finish that's every bit as impressive as the engineering beneath it.
Engineering Every Detail
As the build progresses, every mechanical system is reimagined with the same philosophy.
The V12 engine is comprehensively rebuilt and developed to deliver effortless performance, while electronic fuel injection provides modern drivability without compromising character. Cooling, braking, suspension, steering and electrical systems are all engineered to work together, creating a car that's equally at home on a cross-continent tour as it is on a favourite B-road.
The objective is never to modernise the E-Type for the sake of it. Every enhancement must feel entirely natural, preserving everything enthusiasts love about the original while removing many of the compromises that come with a design conceived more than sixty years ago.
The result is a car that feels resolved, balanced and confidence inspiring, rather than simply modified.

Those 4,000 hours don't belong to one individual.
They belong to panel technicians, paint specialists, engine builders, fabricators, trimmers, auto electricians and development engineers, each bringing years—often decades—of specialist experience to a single project.
There are no production line targets or assembly schedules. If something can be improved, it is. If a component doesn't meet our expectations, it's revisited until it does. That philosophy isn't the fastest way to build a car, but it's the only way to build an Unleashed E-Type.

It still possesses the elegance, presence and character that made the original one of the most celebrated sports cars ever created.
