The Geneva Principle

The Geneva Principle is the standard by which we judge our full restorations and builds. It exists to ensure that finish, performance and reliability are considered together rather than in isolation. The principle is simple: a car must be finished to a standard suitable for public scrutiny, capable of sustained real-world use, and proven before delivery. If any one of those conditions is compromised, the job is not complete.

THE FINISH

Paint, trim and panel fit are assessed not just for appearance, but for consistency and durability under use. Finishes are specified to sit comfortably with the car as a whole, rather than to draw attention in isolation.

THE PERFORMANCE

Performance is defined by usability and confidence, not headline figures. Engines, brakes and suspension are specified to work together, ensuring the car remains balanced and reassuring in the way it is driven.

THE RELIABILITY

Reliability is treated as a design requirement rather than an outcome. Components are assessed, refurbished or replaced where required to support dependable use, rather than cosmetic presentation alone.

THE SHAKEDOWN

Every restoration is validated through extended road use before delivery. This allows issues to surface and be resolved under real conditions, ensuring the car is delivered proven rather than theoretical.
