APRIL 2015

Today at E-Type UK we have received the newly re-chromed bright work back for this Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 OTS.

MARCH 2015

Today the fully re-built standard specification engine and gearbox has been fitted to this Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 OTS. We are now just awaiting the arrival of the newly re-chromed body trim and bumpers.

FEBRUARY 2015

This Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 OTS is now well underway in the restoration process. Front and rear suspension has all been fitted along with the new full wiring loom and re-furbished engine bay components. All in prepartation for the return of the re-built 4.2 engine to be fitted with re-built 4 speed synchromesh gearbox.

JANUARY 2015

This Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 Chassis no 1E 11856 is in progress of total bare shell nut and bolt restoration
The car has been repatriated from California having being built as a left hand drive vehicle.
E-Type UK have so far repaired and re painted this E-Type body shell as well as re building the rear suspension, front suspension, brake components and new brake pipes.

The engine and gearbox are currently undergoing a full overhaul to standard specification.
