This Roadster left the production line on September 10th 1965, finished as an original left-hand drive, set for delivery and sale to Jaguar of Eastern Canada, Montreal. Arriving to the Great White North finished in Opalescent Dark Green over Suede Green and a Sand Hood, the E-type was snapped up by Albert J Goodman, as highlighted by the accompanying Jaguar heritage certificate.

While the cars earliest years remain undocumented, it is understood the example was treated to an exterior respray to Maroon, with the original engine frames remaining in Opalescent Dark Green. In 2019, arriving in this aforementioned condition, the E-type started its ground-up restoration under the direction of the current owner located in Spain, the E-type was set to be finished to the highest level, worthy of any classic concour. Beginning its journey the E-type was stripped down to bare metal and was treated with all new door skins, floors and adjacent closing panels, hood frame mounting panels and much more, ensuring the E-type with many more happy years of safe motoring.

Once the metalwork phase had been completed the E-type underwent paint preparation, restoring those all-important perfect bodylines and panel gaps. The roadster was finished in the mouth-watering and extremely desirable Opalescent Gunmetal, that you see today. With a perfect shell to work from the assigned restorer set about building the E-type. With perfection the goal, the E-type was carefully reassembled and finished with both originality and reliability in mind. Fitting all-new exterior brightwork, as well as countless upgrades:

• Aluminium radiator
• Modern electric cooling fan
• Sports coil
• High torque starter motor
• Electronic ignition
• Stainless steel exhaust system
• 15" polished wire wheels

The build was complete with all-new Red trim and Black mohair hood, beautifully paired with the Gunmetal finish. Now fully restored and box-fresh, the E-type was exported and delivered to E-Type UK for sale.

Now freshly restored, this E-type drives as great as it looks. With its fully restored 4.2L XK engine paired with its period-correct 4-speed synchro gearbox offer smooth and reliable performance. The Red trim offers a pristine driving position to control this classic machine from, with beautifully presented gauges, brightwork and hide.
