The Procedure
At E-Type UK, our 5-speed gearbox upgrade is highly popular and one of the more frequently fitted upgrades on the Jaguar E-type. Due to this fact, we are highly experienced in enhancing the Jaguar E-type driving performance, providing you with a truly transformed classic.
During the removal, we inspect all associated parts including the clutch, master and slave cylinders, bearings, and engine hoses to ensure your vehicle is returned at the highest possible standard.
Built from cast aerospace-grade aluminium, our 5-speed gearbox uses your existing associated components to retain originality and reduce any unnecessary physical changes to your E-type appearance. It’s engineered with synchromesh on all ratios, helical cut gears and a reinforced aluminium cast casing, it is capable of handling up to 400hp and 350 ft/lb of torque.
