Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars | Rounding off the summer

E-Type UK and DM Historics this weekend, hosted another glorious Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars meet at their workshops in Hadlow, Kent. Over 350 proud owners and enthusiasts gathered at the North Frith Farm setting to celebrate a coming together of remarkable classic and modern automobiles.

The likes of a one-of-131 Aston Martin V8 X-Pack and 1966 Corvette Stingray joined proceedings, sat alongside a beautiful Ferrari 365BB and AC Cobra. The bustle of visitors gathered in likeminded admiration of the vehicles on display, which include one of E-Type UK's latest arrivals, a 1965 Series 1 E-type Lightweight Recreation, which could be found in the recently opened showroom. While the businesses showcased a stunning selection of stock currently available for purchase, such as a perfectly original ex-Ecurie Ecosse 1953 Jaguar XK120, which sat proudly alongside a 1962 Jaguar E-type Series 1 3.8, greeting guests as they arrived at the facility. Out front, a wonderful array of E-types and other classics were displayed and were later joined by a plethora of visiting motorcars from VW Beetles, classic Land Rovers, Aston Martins, Mustangs and many more.

Specialising in the restoration, upgrading and maintaining of the legendary Jaguar E-type, E-Type UK was proud to present a number of its latest projects, as well as showing guests the workmanship that goes into each series of the iconic sports car through there 'How To' workshop demos.

While offering an ideal setting for likeminded motorheads to meet, the September meet of Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars was also raising money for the MS Society. Across the course of the morning over £200 in donations for the Kent branch of the MS Society charity was raised, as showing their support, E-Type UK and DM Historics proudly matched the total raised, bringing the final amount donated to over £400.

Rounding off a wonderful summer by showcasing the latest projects and stock from both businesses, surrounded by likeminded petrolheads and raising money for a local charity, was a privilege. Join us in 2020 for another round of automotive nirvana in the Kent countryside, with dates to be announced soon.”
