Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars Returns

The second instalment of the fan-favourite Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars took place at the E-Type UK and DM Historics workshops this month. On Saturday 8th June, a wonderful array of vintage and modern vehicles arrived in-style to celebrate a shared love of all things automotive. We were incredibly pleased with another successful event over the weekend, continuing on from the inaugural meet which attracted some 300 guests and 60 vehicles spanning 80 years of automotive history.

Prior to the June event, we also hosted a fantastic Drive-It day from our Kent facility, where guests and customers took a cruise through the sweeping countryside surrounding North Frith Farm in a fantastic selection of classic and modern exotica. Attendees turned-up in wonderful fashion to this month’s event, with a range of stunning cars including the Ford GT40, Shelby Cobra Daytona, countless returning E-types and numerous custom vintage vehicles. They were joined by a selection of wonderful automobiles on show by E-Type UK and DM Historics, including a number of stunning examples of the iconic Jaguar E-type and rally prepared 1924 Bentley 3-litre.

This most recent instalment of the Classic Cars meet also was raising money in aid for the MS Society. Over the course of the weekend, thanks to the kind generosity of the attendees, the coffee and cake station raised £87.53, which E-Type UK and DM Historics are proud to double thus taking the total up to £175.06 in aid of the charity. If you were unable to donate on the day but would still like to support the cause you donate to the events JustGiving page for the MS Society Charity.
