The first Unleashed by E-Type UK commission, built and delivered to sunny California, finished in a stealthy and mouth-watering Jaguar Gloss Black over a contrasting Cognac leather interior. Retaining the iconic silhouette of the Series 3 E-Type, the Unleashed by E-Type UK offering incorporates subtle design refinements, including handcrafted wrap-around chrome bumpers, a 'floating' front grille, extended bonnet louvres for improved cooling, and LED headlamps with daytime running lights. Delivered over the pond, the California Commission was finished with personal touches to seemly fit in with the American classic car community, such as fitting White wall tyres.
At the heart of the Unleashed lies a significantly enhanced 6.1-litre V12 engine, up from the original 5.3 litres. This powerplant produces 400 bhp, thanks to bespoke electronic fuel injection, individual throttle bodies, and a ceramic-coated stainless-steel exhaust manifold. The engine is paired with a modern five-speed manual gearbox and a lightened flywheel, providing a responsive and engaging driving experience.
Inside, the Unleashed offers a bespoke cabin that reimagines and pairs classic styling with modern amenities. Features include custom hand-stitched heated leather seats, a piano black dashboard, LED-illuminated gauges, and an aluminium centre console. Modern conveniences such as air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, a surround-sound audio system, electric windows, and remote central locking are seamlessly integrated, providing a comfortable and luxurious driving environment.
