Most E-Type owners don’t start by wanting “upgrades”. They come to us because the car feels busy on longer journeys, lacks confidence on modern roads, or simply isn’t as relaxing or dependable to use as they’d like.

At E-Type UK, our approach to upgrades is guided by experience rather than fashion. Decades of continuous work on E-Types has given us clear insight into where reliability, drivability and confidence are most often compromised — and where carefully judged improvements can make the biggest difference without diluting the car’s character.

Rather than treating upgrades as individual products, we focus on outcomes. Calmer cruising, predictable handling, reliable cooling, improved response and greater confidence behind the wheel. In some cases that may involve a single, well-chosen improvement; in others, a small number of upgrades that work properly together.

Not every E-Type needs everything, and no two owners use their cars in the same way. Our role is to understand how you intend to drive your car, and to recommend upgrades that genuinely suit that brief — preserving the spirit, balance and personality of the original design.
